The Steward's Report summarizes vital statistics of your grain harvest. There are two sections divided by a horizontal line
The first section contains the weather report. The weather greatly affects the amount of grain that will mature to be harvested and is not under your control. Bad weather destroys crops. Good or Exellent weather means a larger than normal harvest. It also tells you how much of your grain has been eaten by rats which is not under your control.
The second section gives grain reserve, demand, and price. It also gives statistics for land price, land cultivated, and gold florins in the treasury.
Weather is the major factor that affects the price of grain. When the weather is good grain is plentiful. When the weather is bad, grain is scarce. When grain is plentiful, the demand for grain is low and the price of grain is low. When grain is scarce, the demand for grain is high, and the price of grain is high. The price of land is based on the ratio of your grain harvest to your grain demand. Overpopulation can raise the price of land. Land prices are high when crops are good, but also when grain is scarce.
