The orginal version scrolled this information onto the screen as text. This version uses a dialogue created by the author. There was no 'HERALD' phase in the original version. That name was given by this author. The original game was a multi-player game for 1 to 6 players. The original version showed information for all players. It has been left intact for future expansion to an online, multi-player game. It is also the only phase that shows the number of the player's nobles, clergy, and merchants. In a multi-player game, this information is necessary for players to plan their strategies.
