This phase shows the census of your nobles, clergy, and merchants. It shows the number of new nobles, clergy, and merchants you have gained and the number of any who have immigrated to your city-state during the year. This phase shows the affects on your serf population of the amount of grain you released from your granaries in the previous (GRANARY) phase. Press the 'NEXT=>' button to advance to the "EXCHEQUER'S REPORT" phase.

Census information concerning was scrolled onto the screen as Text in the original version. This was converted to a dialogue by this author. There was no phase in the original game called 'CENSUS'. That name was given by this author.
