You get to this page if your treasury has a negative value. It is possible to to spend more gold florins than you possess in your treasury. When this happens, your treasury shows a negative value. A negative value in your treasury means you have borrowed money from the bank. The higher your rank, the more money you can borrow from the bank before bankrupcy. Press the 'NEXT=>' button to proceed to the 'MAP' phase.

This screen informs you that have borrowed money from the bank. It tells you your interest rate, how much you have borrowed, and your new balance in your treasury.

There is a limit to the amount of money you can borrow based upon your rank. The higher your rank, the more money you can borrow. You can borrow up to 10000 gold florins times your rank. If you borrow more money than your limit or your interest charges added to your loan exceed your limit you will be bankrupt. If you bankrupt, the bank will seize most of your treasury and your assets. This is not the end of the game. It is often still possible to win the game even if you bankrupt.

Keep in mind that the amount in your treasury is used to calculate your promotion. A negative value in your treasury will be subtracted from your points towards your promotion.
